Judge sets trial date for Donald Trump

A federal judge ordered that the trial in the classified documents case that special counsel Jack Smith brought against former President Donald Trump begin in mid-May 2024. US District Judge Aileen Cannon said a two-week trial period would begin on May 20. #CNN #News

That date is way too much in the future. It needs to be this year and there's No excuse. This is a Trump judge who has no business trying this in her court.

I worked in the defense industry for 36 years where classified information was managed. NONE OF US would have the freedoms Trump has if we had done a fraction of what this traitor has done with classified documents! We would be waiting for our trial in a prison holding cell.
