For a variety of reasons, Boothbay Harbor, Maine, isn't a destination for typical cruise ships. But it does see the occasional small expedition-type passenger vessel, such as the one in this video.

Built in 1988, the Yorktown (not to be confused with the famous aircraft carrier of the same name!) is 257 feet long and carries up to 138 passengers. American-flagged and with an all-American crew, she cruises in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and South America.

Video shot from the grounds of Topside ("the inn on the hill"), McKown Hill, Boothbay Harbor, on the evening of Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
