Thank you so much for putting out this content! I had the ridiculous idea of trying to create ice of this shape for cocktails at home. I modeled casts within Fusion 360 to be 3D printed and then filled with food-safe silicone rubber to make molds designed to make ice in the shape of the Rhombic triacontahedron. I had a very hard time trying to work out how to model this shape and this video was an eye opener. With your help, it was surprisingly successful and I've since made a dozen or so pieces of ice in this fascinating shape (60 mm in diameter). I also modeled the molds to fit within a large insulated tumbler to allow for directional freezing which produces perfectly clear ice. To be honest, as a mere hobbyist user of Fusion 360, it was quite an exercise for me to work out how to model a cast to make a mold to fit the contour of the tumbler and produce ice in this shape. I'm surprised it works so well and I owe a bit of that to you. Cheers!

Nice, though I do find DrStrangelove's tutorial, though for Autodesk Inventor can be done in Fusion 360, a bit easier and quicker.

(do a Disdyakis Triacontahedron next?)
