*I have an updated video for the best stocks and shares ISA account for the UK in 2023 the link is here:*

This video is a brief overview of some of the best investing apps and platforms in the UK for 2022, which include Vanguard, Freetrade, Hargreaves Lansdown, Stake and AJ Bell. I'll give you an overview of their charges, what options you have and who they might be best suited for. I've not added Trading 212 sorry until they allow new customers, but happy to do this once they start up again in the UK. (I also skipped Etoro, it's too focussed on options/ CFD trading IMO) (cheapest investing app UK, best investing app UK)

How about SIPP Fund Management fee? I just found out that II charges 0.75% and AJ Bell charges 0.25% on the first 250k. It will be helpful if you can include this fee in your comparison.

Love this video. Are there any platforms that have come out in the last 2 years you would recommend?

If I just want to put £5k in the S&P 500 and few smaller investments into some companies would you say Vanguard is the way to go?

Hello Guys,

Vanguard not flexible and recently reduced interest on cash held. What about Lightyear? Keep everything in dollars so can avoid a lot of fx fees. Also repeat orders are brilliant. No ISA though but good interest on cash held.

Iam with FreeTrade.
More than happy.
I was wondering if I shouid continue with FreeTrade ( isa, pension and general investment) or give FreeTrade a miss and put my £20, 000 in vanguard for 2022 - 2023 ?
I do buy into vanguard via FreeTrade.
Thanks for you time 👍👍👍🎉🥳

Hi, what's the best platform for if I grow my dividend portfolio into the millions overtime.

Is the money protected? Or do I put into a ISA within the platform?

Thank you

Hi Toby, thanks for all of your videos. They are are very informative and have helped me to understand or and improve my knowledge in how and where to invest in the UK. I have a question for you, one of my 2 pensions accounts is with Aviva my money and it is from my previous job. According to them it is a Trust based pension (i do not know what exactly is) but one of the downside is that you can only see the perform of the funds via their webpage which is really basic and can not allow you to see in details the performance of the funds and even you can not compare many of their funds with other external funds. So, I am thinking to transfer that pension to an SIPP with other provider like vanguard. My question would be, could you advise what is or are the different(s) between a SIPP and a thrush based pension? or if is it better to have an SIPP instead of keeping your pension type/provider from previous jobs? Many thanks, Luis

Hi Toby,

I hope you are doing very well.

I saw your recently video in your YouTube channel (The Best Stocks & Shares ISA 2023) and I noticed that you did not include IG, any reason for that?. Also, I compered the follwoing ETFs CNDX.L vs CNX1.L which I understand are the same ETF ACC but the first one in USD and second one in GBP. However when you see the individual cumulative performance per year the CNDX.L has as significant lower performance than the CNX1.L. I do know if I missing something but do you know why is that?

Thanks and regards

Luis
