Webley MK1 .22 Blank Starting Pistol.
This Is the Mk1 Starting pistol that shoots .22 Blanks. The blanks are fed into a metal 6 shot magazine that goes in the front of the pistol and eventually comes through the back of the gun through a door that opens up.
This is a top vented pistol.
On the left side it’s stamped SPORTS STARTING PISTOL. MADE IN ENGLAND.
On the right side it’s stamped USE Webley BLANK CARTRIDGES.
The Pistol Grips also say Webley.
This Webley starting PIstol was bought from a Large sports shop in the 1960’s in Nottingham called REDMAYNE & TODD LTD.
A lovely collectors piece, not many boxes survived and the condition is great.
This pistol was used back in the day to start races and sport events.
