I just got my lululemon mat and I love it! Thank you for this review, it helped me to make the choice.

My only concern was keeping it clean because I had heard so many reviews that it does stain easily. Yes, it absorbs everything! I had lotion on my legs and did notice it was coming off onto the mat. However, it was really easy to clean it off. I just filled the sink with warm water and a small amount of dawn dishwashing liquid then used a washcloth dipped into the water to wipe off the areas that were stained. I did this immediately after my practice so I'm guessing if you allow the stains to sit for a long time it might be harder to clean.

FYI the tote bag must have been a nice add on from whoever packaged the mat as they rarely ever ship them like that. However, if you’re around any lululemon store THOSE BAGS ARE FREE so you don’t have to buy anything to get them, you can just ask for one and as long as they’re not running low on stock, they’ll give you a couple!

Thanks for making this video. Does this mat offer good stability for balance pose? I've tried a friend's Manduka Pro mat which had great stability but the breaking in process really put me off

Jade is better. Quick dry (indoors!) and the best stability. Lululemon is a giant sweat sponge.
