GRC-19

Demonstration of the GRC-19 radio set. This military radio was used from the 1950's up to the early 1970's.

I operated that in the army, ours was made by Collins and we used tank batteries to run it. We called it the pinball machine because of the way you can press a button to get it to automatically change frequencies. . I used to Try and find the Russian sputnik with the Receiver. Very heavy.

My r392 works great. Just wish I could find a o.e.m.
Meter for it along with a hand full of original bowtie knobs.

I have also one and like to run it, but the reciver is more expensive as the transmitter

go find ya a couple of big truck batteries and hook em in series and work it all day
