Показать описание
In the seventh webinar of the Law, Technology, & Warfare Research Cell's (LTWRC's) second season of Space Law webinars, Major Jeremy Grunert - US Air Force JAG officer, Assistant Professor of Law at the United States Air Force Academy, and Chief of Research for the Law, Technology, and Warfare Research Cell - reviews the key space law events, policies, and international law efforts of 2021. Tune in to this webinar to hear more on: how the transition to a new U.S. Presidential Administration has affected U.S. space law/policy; the legal implications under the international space law regime related to falling Chinese rocket-bodies, Russian ASAT tests, and Starlink satellite proximity threats to international actors; international efforts at the United Nations to develop norms and rule of "responsible behavior" in outer space, largely spurred by resolutions sponsored by the United Kingdom (and supported by the U.S. and other U.K. allies); and whether Elon Musk can, in fact, ever become the emperor of Mars.
