Hi I have HP laptop. I dont have this UEFI option when I do it lile you said. I tried restart it and press and hold F2 and press power botun but then it just makes a very loud sound that doesnt stop until I turn it off...

EDIT: On HP laptop you need to keep pressing ESC or F10 to enter BIOS. Solved it. Thanks.

One question, In my TUF gaming F15, can I use the BIOS menu to restart the hotkey settings so I can stop pressing FN everytime I want to Mute with F1 or volume up/down with F2/F3?

One solution is to disconnect your ssd/hard drive. On startup youd enter bios immediately, allowing you to make any changes, save and exit and simply reconnect your ssd/hd for the next startup

There is no such thing as UEFI firmware settings in the screen in my Asus pc x559l, running widows 10, instead it has startup settings, under that it has lot of options, under it it says to restart computer to change windows options, then after restating it shows a menu, under it when restarted it has the F2 key assigned to enable boot logging, but when I press that nothing happens

I think something has changed on my bios when I clone HDD to SSD.
The clone is Success soo I put the SSD on my Asus f571g, and I start the laptop, and everything seems to work well...
But when I put on sleep mode and after opening it did not save where I was. The sleep mode acts like a restart button or Startup instead of sleep mode. After that when I try to login into Windows it shows me (Something happened and your pin isn't available) and the only way to bypass it is to restart and off/on my PC to login in.

Now I don't want the sleep mode to act as a restart button or Startup. I want to make the sleep mode work like a normal laptop would do. I think it's the Asus bios is the problem anyway to fix it or set it back to normal?

I bought a M570DD and I'm trying to reduce the ram allocated to the IGPU, however, when I enter BIOS I find no options do adjust that.

I don't have that option, and clicking F2 after restart also doesn't have the SVM option - my model is from the K50IJ series.

My X441SA model now wont boot up correctly. I have new installed windows 10 3 separate times over last 4 months, always same problem. Tried bootrec, but says "the type of file system is NTFS". I am hopelessly lost. Only ay in for me is to turn on and tap F1 key to then open up a blue screen with click windows 10 in next 5 seconds box. have scanned it, no problem. Have Kaspersky scanned it, no problems. Have 250Gb let on 500 Gb hard drive. ^ months ago it used to go straight to my screen asking me as user to sign in. any advise please. steven

I have a boot configuration file missing and I need to boot from a USB drive, but I cannot get into the BIOS from the start up screen. I've tried f2, delete key, f8 and f12 and none of them will bring me to the BIOS it just goes back to the error message page.
