Let's Learn English at the Shopping Mall! It's Time for A Field Trip! 👔👟👗

In this English lesson I'll take you to the shopping mall and help you learn some words and phrases that you can use when you going shopping and need to speak English!

Field trips are always a fun time. On this field trip we'll learn English at the mall. You'll learn words and phrases like: shoe store, escalator, drug store, book store, sporting goods store, food court, shops versus stores, and more!

I hope you enjoy this English lesson at the mall! It was fun to make!

Oh, I went to the mall a few weeks ago to buy some exercise equipment, and as I was walking out of that store I started wondering, “What would we call this kind if store in English? Athletic(s) store? Sport(s) store? With or without the S?” And then the thought just faded away!
Now, when you showed that Sporting goods store, which I would never have guessed the correct name, I immediately had déjà vu! Thanks for the awesome lesson Mr. Bob. It certainly hit the spot for me just like that burger did for you! 😉🍔🛍

I am at a mall currently, I jumped in to shop in the pharmacy, use the wifi (internet) and use the restroom. It is the quite new Etele plaza which was not built when I lived here in Budapest. The malls (we rather call them plazas) have similar shops as you showed around there. It is still the morning so it is also not full. Strange you do not drink anything with your burger. This was good; we learned the names of some stores at malls, but I wish you had talked to salespersons and initiated a dialog with them. Knowing how to buy things is much more important than store names.
