I love how Rhett’s southern accent gets stronger and stronger as he talks passionately about Sturgill Simpson and modern country music

Saw the title and got so hype for this Podcast. It was always obvious that Link is a total music nerd. I love hearing his mind relating to music

So stoked to see The Avett Brothers and Fleet Foxes on here. Both bands have had such a huge impact on me.

When Link was talking about The Low End Theory and he referred to To Pimp a Butterfly my respect for him went to the moon.

My apt complex had a 4am fire alarm so can’t sleep, this video is perfect for me because I love these guys and I’m a music teacher 🎵❤️

311's Blue album was my first REAL jam. I'm in my 40's now, and I still LOVE IT! Nick Hexum and Doug Martinez harmonize like a boss! I remember my first makeout session in high school was with the song "Purpose" playing in the background. I'm TOTALLY with you on this one, Rhett! It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Props to Rhett for giving the Avett Brothers the respect they so truly deserve. Fell in love with these guys music during High School and have always had a respect for their sound. Ain't No Man is still one of my favorite tunes. Nothing quite like it imo.

I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. I'm always on the lookout for new music to listen to, and to hear two men who have completely different tastes than me talk about their favorite albums was really intriguing.

I love that link mentioned To Pimp a Butterfly, I was just thinking about my personal experience listening to Good Kid Mad City when it released my freshman year and the story it tells from beginning to end

What you could do is make a YouTube playlist alternating between clips of you discussing it and the songs. That way you'd get monetisation on your bits and the artists would get monetisation on their bits and everyone wins!
