How about this for a bucket list drive? Never did we expect to have the keys to a Ferrari Monza SP1 for an afternoon, one of just 129 SP1's, making this a seriously rare car! It is coming up for auction with RM Sotheby's at Munich on Saturday 23rd November.

The SP1 is an exceptional and unique open-top supercar that was introduced in 2018 as part of Ferrari's "Icona" series. The Monza SP1 was part of Ferrari’s effort to connect its modern cars with its storied past, drawing directly from Ferrari’s post-war sports cars. The car’s "barchetta" style and open-top design pay homage to legendary racing Ferraris from the 1950s, making it a nostalgic yet innovative creation for the modern age.

RM Sotheby’s is set to make its return to Munich on 23 November for its third consecutive sale at the city’s landmark Motorworld venue.

They’re huge in the metal, more like a boat than a car. Fun novelty though - nice that it exists as an expression of silliness

Absolutely one of the greatest modern cars created, the heritage, barchetta and a v12… what else could someone wish for

Such a beautiful and striking car. One of the prettiest modern Ferrari. I’ll take the SP2, more symmetrical

Hate to say it but for a production run of less than 130 cars, 3.5m Euro is a bargain. In 10 years it will above 10m, no question.

Esse carro devia ter sido manual, mais focado na experiência (a SP3 também) 🤔❤️

Wish it would have come with the option of a manual

I wonder why they did not put the seat in the middle of the car instead of off center. I guess weight distribution still is good, but would look so much better with centerseat

How does it feel to drive that thing? You just blurted out some stuff that could be found on the wikipedia. You had it in the flesh, you drove it; so how does it feel? Such a waste of an oppurtunity

My very first thought was f**k ….. sensational, but I must admit prefer the McLaren Elva ….. 👍

The best thing is, Ferrari was only inspired by the ethos of the 50:ies sports racer, but didn´t do a retro looking car. That would have been too easy - and boring.

Love it but can’t help thinking what happens when a fat bug or pebble takes you out.

The fact that thing is basically unused just shows how boring some of these rich people must be 🤦‍♂️
