100% - I also watched the Korean, Japanese (both 1996 and 2013 series plus the 2016-2017 live action movies) and Thai versions but literally nothing beats the Taiwanese version. The chemistry between ArJoe and the rest of the cast was on point, the plot was fleshed out really well and I love how Zhi Shu actually seemed like a real person and would show his feelings especially after they finally got together. I have a soft spot for ItaKiss in general but ISWAK and TKA are just perfection

This drama just hits even nearly 20 years later it’s still the best one for me. And I’ve watched every adaptation from the manga to the Japanese one. And I still go back to this one because it was the best.

They had the best chemistry, story and characters. Also you could just tell it was a fun set they kept a lot of NG takes in the show and it made it more natural and funny.

even tho i've known this drama for a long time, i finally watched it a few days ago. i have to say i really enjoy the adaptation, and i think Joe Cheng's Zi Shu is the best version. He was so gentle when speaking, and even when annoyed, never really raised his voice to her. Even when he was mean to her, he always do what she wants with his actions. I could understand why it became harder to let go of her feelings, despite always being insecure, Zi Shu did treat her good in certain parts. Really love both seasons!

Im re watching it right now again. I think I already watch this more than 10 or 20 times already 😂. This is my forever favorite drama and i’ll never get tired of watching it all over again. I just love Arjoe’s chemistry so much. ❤ I tried watching Playful Kiss, Korean version of ISWAK, but ISWAK is still the best version for me and I think no other version can beat this one. I love how Joe portay his character here. It was on point as well as Ariel. A perfect pair indeeeed.
