The Jedi Knights are so awesome.

This movie might not have been amazing, but it was the first time we saw extensive lightsaber action and the Jedi Knights in their prime. It was really cool. Some of us had been waiting our entire lives to see this.

At 3:52 as they pass the control ship, you can tell that shot is a real model and not CGI like lots of other shots in the movie. Looks absolutely stunning. People really overlook the amazing visuals in some parts of this movie because of other parts not holding up so well.

This level was an absolute bastard on the 'Phantom Menace' PS1 game. The droids were actually a threat and the queen would repeatedly run directly into danger or get stuck in a bush lol.

I was only 7 years old seeing this in the cinema and still remember the tension when the poor droids were being blasted off the naboo cruiser. Pretty sure I had tears in my eyes when R2 got the shields back online
