Fantastic Rick, appreciate you answering my query with this great video :) Funny story, you did the video with one arm and said it is so simple you only need one hand. You must be psychic, as I am actually recovering from shoulder surgery and only have one arm available, so is good to know I can do this even in my current state ;)

Most underrated Inkscape teacher out here in YouTube-land, because Rick is simply one of the best.

I've never seen a program do what it does before, and never anyone that shows all these secrets. Thank you thank you. As Tina Turner sang to Ayrton Senna: you are simply the best.

This is brilliant. Take one pallette you like. Trace a pic you like and just match the darks to darks. Lights to lights wow totally change the feel. Let's get creating people. Wheeeyyyy.

the paths of simplicity are the fruit of a mature logic. So building a palette of colors according to this method is emblematic: well done Rick. Greetings from Italy

This is nuts! I've been digging into Inkscape because I just got an Orturr LM2 10a, so I guess I need to become a bit of a graphic designer now🤣 And your channel is a GEM! Your videos on the layered vector tracing stuff is what started me off, but now I'm getting into things that I probably don't even need for my laser!🤣 Hats off, man👌 Fantastic content, good pacing and demonstration. Really great work. Thank you for what you do🙏 You got my sub for sure. Have a great one, and stay safe out there!

Thanks a lot Rick. These are the best videos on YouTube for free too. Ever considered creating a course yet? Regards the palette image extension, jpg or svg or png? Great videos keep them coming.

Wow! How simple!
Once I practice.
Love that I can keep control of my own images. You never know what those palette makers websites do with your images.
Thank you for this tutorial and for telling us where to find those tools.

😊😊😊

Thanks so much for instructions for InkScape so much appreciated. Two questions:
1. How do I preorder your book that is coming out in December?
2. How to change color in a png file. example if its green how I make the green in that image gold in inkscape?

That's amazing!! Thank you so much, this changes EVERYTHING. I've been doing this manually and it was exhausting.

Once again I learn a new Inkscaoe feature. Thanks! I guess as an alternative, users could just duplicate and move several squares then use the eye dropper tool to target desired colours.
