Provence: Any Sniper.
Mountain: S2 M3 or any Musha/Reaper.
Cardigan: Any Defender or Fast Re-Deploy.
Nightingale: S2 M3. L7 fine. Any AOE Medic.
Hoshiguma: Any E2 Defender (high HP/DEF).
Mulberry: Any Wandering or Therapeutic Medic.
Thorns: S3 M3 or any Guard (slower clear without Thorns).

That fuckin shield is the bame of my attempts to finish this stage

While playing with Kal'tsit and Monst3r I noticed that true damage seems to pass the shield. Unfortunately they are too squishy to replace Hoshi but the damage is nice. And I think that's Mountain S2M3 and not S3M3. Good guide though!
