Cilantro Lime Rice! This Dish will save your day. ❤️

When I need a side dish, this Cilantro Lime Rice always comes through for me, it always saves the day. Cilantro Lime Rice is a perfect side dish, it just goes so well with anything. This recipe takes just a few ingredients and it's a nice change from the same routine, whether you use Jasmine, Basmati or Long grain rice it'll just work so well for you. This is an easy side dish that will become your favorite too. I hope you give it a try. ❤️

INGREDIENTS ______________________
1 C. Jasmine Rice
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbs Olive Oil
1/4 C. Finely Chopped Onions
1 Large Garlic Clove (minced)
2 tsp Chicken Bouillon (I used Knorr)
1 3/4 C. Hot Water
Pepper as needed
2 Small Bay Leaves or 1 Big one
Zest of 1 Lime
Juice of 1 Lime (or 1/2)
1/3 - 1/2 C. Chopped Cilantro

*Hi Rachel* ! You are such an inspiration ~ Tonight I made this recipe for my Family. I did not have any chicken cubes or broth, so I substituted a Beef cube in the boiling water...This was the BEST RICE we have ever had in 40 years of being together !! I usually use my rice cooker with a homemade broth of some sort...and sometimes I add several garlic pieces...and always some butter on top....Your rice was superior in every way. My son has asked for this again this week, this time using the chicken cube/broth as you do. We used a white organic basmati. Also the frying pan I used cleaned up like a D~R~E~A~M~ my rice cooker always is a chore to clean as it sticks even with the butter addition. God Bless your Precious Heart Rachel .
