= 2.303( log (x) base

My advice is never byheart any thing.. just try to understand the things how these works!! Trust me Math is really beautiful!!

proof :- ln(x)=log (x) base e
=> since log (m) base n =log (m)/ log (n) ;
ln(x)=log (x)/log(e);
we can divide log 10 on numerator and denominator;
=> ln(x)={log(x)/log(10)} / { log(e)/log(10)}
=>ln(x)= {log(x)/log(10)} / { log(2.718)/log(10)}
=>ln(x)= {log(x)/log(10)} / {(0.434) }
Thus;
ln(x) = 2.303 log(x) base 10.
See how simple it is!! never ignore to understand how the formulae works and learn from the roots..You all will fall in love with the beauty of math!!!
