"The title 'Cloud Engineer' is extremely vague."

I'm starting to see that's a pattern with a lot of IT titles😆

Hey Nicole, can you make a video talking how to pick a cyber niche? I am having a hard time in choosing between cyber defense and grc since I like both tech and no tech. Personally, I like grc due to writing and making sure policies are complied. As for cyber defense, I have some programming skills and some networking and currently working on some cyber certs. Please make this video!

Hi Nicole,
I'm interested in Cloud Security Engineer. I have my Associate Degree in Information Technology/Networking with concentration in Information System and programming. I also have my Security plus certification. I will be graduating in 8 weeks with my Bachelor degree in CIS with a concentration in Cybersecurity

Tha is for the info Nicole. Do you believe going the help desk route is absolutely necessary? Seems a lot of places really want you to do help desk before moving into anything higher even if you have certs. I really want to get into this field and I know the outlook would be great a year down the road I just don’t know if I can afford the paycut I would take moving to a help desk role. Thanks again for the informative videos!

i have a question, can I find an entry level job in cloud computing with just a certificate? I don't care about salary, that is something I can earn as I get experience, but is it possible for me to find an entry level job in this, with the certificate only I am planning to work remotely?

Is not the cloud just a way of renting various computers in that they don't belong to you. IaaS, PaaS and SaaS are the various models of outsourcing your computer work, in various forms.

I, m curious, have you or any work colleagues, get involved in freelance type work???
I knew programmers who took 6 month contracts in NYC at $500.00 a day
Then a 3 month vacation in the Bahamas, then back to more contract work.Tthese contracts lasted from 3 months to two years.
Even Edward Snowden, before he left the country, worked for Dell doing contract IT/Security work at $3000.00 a week.
Again what's your familiarity with contract or self employment in Cybersecurity, as it's hard to get information on this.??

Hi Nicole, I’m a few weeks out from getting my CCNA ( I’m new to tech) and I swore cybersecurity was my path. But being money motivated I also think I’m going to switch and head down the cloud path. Thanks for your videos. Stay blessed 😇
