And Sony and Square said that we didn't want this and that there was gonna be no money in it. I believe the reaction they got and the oeverwhelming support afterwards proves them wrong. Though, I can't help but feel this was Square's and Sony's "Break glass in case of emergency" game.

While some people whined about boring fetch quests, or the potentially altered story played and beat the remake and it was everything I hoped it would be. It was incredible. They maintained the "vibe" of the world. The nostalgia of the original. It was truly how I felt it back in 1997....again. I don't know how they pulled it off. I hope they continue the whole story to the very end. I worry about HOW they will do this, exactly. It would have to be at least 5 separate games if they treat it this way (which I hope they do). But that would mean an awkward transition onto PS5 and possibly ending on PS6!!!

This game was so good that even though I didn't play the original(my sister did and I watched a little) the music from the game I somehow know off by heart. Its just that magical. I just finished the remake and it's one of my fave games of all time. I've played 8 and 9 fully though! And a little of 10 but I will finish 10 and 10-2 one day
