Cirrus Aircraft invited me to fly their G2+ Vision Jet from the Cirrus Vision Center in Knoxville, TN up to Oshkosh for EAA AirVenture 2022. It was a great experience to gain a firsthand perspective of Cirrus Aircraft and the amazing people and technology that make @CirrusAircraft .

Flying the G2+ Vision Jet was an amazing experience. The cockpit technology is quite different than what I am used to in the F-16 and even the 777. The Vision Jet incorporates two @GarminInt G3000's which are impressive in and of themselves with intuitive functionality and huge situational awareness for the pilot. From a safety standpoint I think the Vision Jet is unmatched. The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System is a huge safety bonus and earned Cirrus Aircraft the Collier Trophy in 2017. They also have incorporated another Collier Trophy winning technology into the SF50 Vision Jet, which is @garminaviation Safe Return, that allows passengers to autonomously land the Vision Jet with the touch of a single button. Fellow Collier Trophy winners include the Apollo 11 crew, Boeing for the development of the 747 and 777, and so many more.

Travis did a great job! He was my first instructor in the SR-20 back when he was the Cirrus Flying Club instructor in Duluth! Great times!

Great video. My business partner and I were looking to purchasing a G2+. It's the 5+ year wait time that killed the deal so we purchased a Cessna P210R.

On take off I didn’t hear “Send it” when the afterburners lit. Oh wait Cirrus don’t have burners what am I thinking. Still a nice ride though. Merica!

I took my PPL training on and SR20 with full efis. Fast little airplane. Payloads a little low

The only problem with the Vision is bird strikes…….from the rear.

There isn't the payload for 7 passengers and fuel for normal sized adults.
