Her rendition of Joni Mitchell's California was mind-blowing! I had no idea she was so gifted!

Seth is such a great interviewer when it goes to comedy. Wow! Did he nail this part! And loved that last parting pun! Let's see the 2d half.

In France, btw, "Kevin" (pronounced 'kev-ANN') has become a stereotype, kind of like "Karen" in the USA. Kevins are kind of bros. They love the outdoors, rugby, drinking beer, talking loud, slapping each other on the back, and using lots of anglicisms (borrowed English words). The name, of Irish origin, became really popular at one time so there are a lot of guys around the same age with that name, just like the huge number of guys my age named Dave, as the Kids in the Hall musically celebrated.

I knew she could sing really good from Les Mis and Mamma Mia, but singing live in front of an audience is a whole different thing to singing on a film soundtrack, i.e. a recording studio. I'm impressed!
then she did this hilarious peacock scream. I'm in love!

I went to the Fountain of Youth at St Augustine, FL a couple of years ago. They have peacocks there because reasons and the screaming is absolutely real.

I can't believe she didn't make the comparison/connection! A peacock's 'scream' sounds exactly like "Kevin" the exotic bird, from the Pixar movie UP. I have no doubt that is why they are named Kevin.

We had one Albino Peacock at the zoo I used to work at who would scream "Ow, MY EYE! My EYE! my EYE!" at top volume about 6 times a day... we'd get customers running up to the gift shop to report somebody had suffered an eye injury at least twice a week.

CORRECTION: DAVID Attenborough narrates the nature documentaries, not his brother, RICHARD the actor.

So, I just went and watched the Fallon clip, and it was great. I find Fallon hard to take as an interviewer but she was superb. A Joni biopic is not a bad idea. I also like the idea of Aidy Bryant as Mama Cass. Just saying.

Had to stop and listen to her play California. Yeah, she’s pretty incredible. The Blue bug bit her good, that album is soul changing.

David Letterman once had the world or country winning bird callers on and he asked about peacocks, their description was exactly the same description I said minutes earlier. They sound like a dying cat.
