The carollers, an a cappella group, formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie, has earned the distinction of being ranked amongst the best of Ontario choirs in both the 2010 and 2013 Ontario Music Festival Association competition. They are a non-profit organization, who raise funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales.

I've just now heard this carol for the first time (on other YT posts). I wish I had known it years ago. This arrangement is very lovely..LOTS of major 7th & 9th chords, parallel triads, etc..with each verse becoming more rich and "dense" harmonically, as opposed to literal/strophic repeats. This all sounds especially good with the wonderful blend of voices and reverberant acoustic. But the last 4 measures of each verse use a variant of the traditional melody; I would have liked to hear your harmonization of the ORIGINAL melody here. Still, what you've done is excellent, and much appreciated.
