What is really touching my heart lately is how Italians are able to truly enjoy their beautiful country again without zillions of tourists everywhere. I know that's an economic problem, and I'm sure it will be remedied at some point, but to me, this season of "rest" is restoring the spirits of my Italian friends and neighbors. I can see it in their faces. They deserve this time during Feragosto to relish what is rightfully theirs. Thank you Nicki and Carlo for sharing your lovely day with us. God bless you.

I started watching the video when my husband asked, “Are you watching Nicki’s vlog?”, (the minute I’m watching something on YT, he asks if I’m watching yours), needless to say I had to re-start the video so he could watch it too!! I stayed the Hotel Convento years ago and did this walk every day for 8 days - it is wonderful to reach the heart of the village from this walk. This was a real trip down memory lane as that was about 20 years ago....There was an amazing Escher exhibit in Naples 1-1/2 years ago with lots of works done depicting the Amalfi Coast - was amazing. The sea is just glistening! So beautiful. Thanks again for doing these for all of us - I know it can take quite a lot of time and it much appreciated.
