A bunch of kids from a music school in Ohio have released a cover of Tool's 'Forty Six & 2' and it's pretty amazing.
Ohio music teacher Aaron O'Keefe uploaded a YouTube video of the Tool cover on Sept. 16 and it has already garnered more than 2.700,000 page views. The track is the fourth single from the Los Angeles band's second album, "Aenima," which was released in 1996 and won a Grammy for its title track.
O'Keefe definitely gives a whole new meaning to the concept of band class, helping elevate his young students to create masterful renditions of some of the biggest hits of the rock and metal genre.
These students sure have the tools to fill a stadium. They tackle the lofty goal of recreating the Tool tune '46 & 2,' quite a feat even for the most accomplished of musicians. That only adds to how impressive it is to see these budding music stars interpreting the song as their own and incorporating instruments like piano, bongos, claves and djembe into their arrangement.
