I love how Kiara opens Kovu's eyes. I think that's part of why he fell in love with her. He finally saw that there is more to life than training and killing. For the first time in a long time he actually got to enjoy himself and have fun.

Lionesses are more attracted to the darker mane of the Lion. Kiara has the best taste in lions and Kovu is one of the most handsome Lions I’ve seen.

I feel like the reason why Kiara and kovu works so well together is because they both had something the other one wanted Kiara wanted independence where kovu wanted guidance and help. And when they found each other and found that the other person was just offering the perfect life for them, they immediately bonded over that. So Kiara and kovu both reached each other's dreams together by using each other.
