The wood used for this sculpture is from an olive tree. Olive tree is an oil-bearing tree. As temperature and atmospheric pressure changes due to geographical location, the change in altitude and climate could have made the oil in the wood to drain. The hair strands came from the towels, handkerchiefs they used to wipe the oil. The coincidence is a miracle. If the oil can heal then it is really a miracle. 😊 To some it is idol worship.
