i discovered this video when i was in year 9 not knowing the anime or anything but when i saw this and the music behind it i was just so obsessed with it but i knew if i watched this video on repeat for so long it would lose its sentimentality so i stopped watching it. then in year 13 two of my friends were talking about a new anime they found called samurai champloo and i thought oh go on then ill give it a go. little did i know it would be the best anime ive ever watched. i remember as soon as i saw this fight scene i knew exactly where it was from and after i finished the episode i came to this exact video and started to just vibe out. now im in uni and i cant believe i still come back to this video. it has a very special place in my heart i dont even know why im writing this normally i never comment on videos but rn im a bit emotional lol

Samurai Champloo was the show that truly got me into beats like this. Wasted so much time listening to trash music before discovering this. My friends and I love smoking a little weed, running a Nujabes playlist or the like, and going crazy with the freestyles. Some of my greatest memories ever.
