Nah, I've made some video editions for my other channel or for twitter, but I decided to upload some of them here!

Anyway, I'm pretty obsessed with this ship! and I know a lot of ppl doesn't like it... I don't care xD
If you dislike them, good, I respect you, but I'll still keep loving them xD

So... I know it's not a great video, but It was made with love xD
My main idea was to make a story about how Utahime got her scar (it was going to be a Gojohime video of course), but it was pretty hard considering that we don't have enough scenes of her... so I changed the focus of the video and decided not to explain about her scar, but about her feelings after she got it.
If you watch or read Jujutsu Kaisen, you should know that for wizards is normal to have scars from battles, buuuut I supposed that even when you have accepted that reality, having a scar on your face is something that maybe can hurt at first. And that was what I wanted to show here. Utahime tries to keep moving forward, but she still changes her mood and hides her scar with her hair. Gojo notices this and in a selfless act he givesher a ribbon, letting her see she doesn't need to hide her face. After this Utahime is filled with courage and starts to pick up her hair with this gift, feeling confortable with herself.

There is a place name "UTAHIME".
"UTA" = song, "HIME" = princess
The place got its name because it was the place where a group of people who performed court bugaku lived about 1, 300 years ago.
In this work, as her name suggests, she uses a beautiful technique accompanied by bugaku.

As an adjective, a female singer who can cast a spell that captivates the masses through her songs is equally UTAHIME (diva).

i see people saying they dont believe gojo could do this or unbelieving that utahime would accept it from him so here are my thoughts on the scenario.

first, this is set after geto defects, and we all know this affected gojo deeply, i dont think its going too far to say that after geto left, gojo was more willing to be there for a sort of friend like utahime. ofc this doesnt mean hes all "aww here, ur perfect" u can see that he still struggles with showing vulnerability (as shown in the animatic) but i can see him being more aware of others and their feelings since thats what he couldnt do with geto when he was struggling.

as for utahime, as the creator said in the caption, uta keeps trying to move forward but its difficult. yes scars are a sign of being in the business, but even in the anime theyve stated that scars are different for female sorcerers, especially one on the face. beauty and strength are valued, sometimes in equal parts, sometimes more than the other. but this scar first and foremost shows "weakness" to utahime. it shows her that shes not a good sorcerer. and in turn she tries to hide the sign of her weakness, i think thats whats getting to her more than her face being "less attractive"

this is why its significant that gojo is the one to give her the ribbon. canonically gojo has called utahime weak, this was before geto left, and while gojo still has some lingering ideas about peoples strengths and the role of the strong towards the weak, gojo has changed. so for gojo to do a wordless gesture like this would be accepted by utahime. why wouldnt utahime accept a gesture from one of the people who would have once before ridiculed her for her "weakness". this shows gojo has changed because hes not ridiculing her, hes doing his own sort of comfort. she accepts it because she knows its not done out of malice, and coming from the strongest, i feel this would hold a lot of weight to her.

in no way am i saying a girl needs this validation from a boy, but they are more than a girl and a boy. they are utahime and gojo, and their context and the world and situations they live in make this meaningful.

that is my opinion.

I was confused whilst watching this video. At first, I thought it was a fan made video but clips from the anime. I was surprised when I saw the scene of utahime injured her face, my first thought, "Wait, did I skip chapters from manga? It's in the anime." (I haven't watch s2 yet) and I realized that this is wholly a "fan-made" video just for gojohime/gota 😭😭 Absolutely amazing by the way! Thank you for this. Great video! For a second I thought it was an actual episode and given by the comments I assume a lot of other people too. I have a feeling that Gojo's shtick of calling Utahime weak definitely was toned down due to him associating people and valuing them based off strength (what was probably done to him when he was kid growing up being known as the "strongest" and not a person like everyone else, a weapon.) Since this probably takes place after Gojo and Geto's argument where Geto said "are you the strongest because you're Satoru Gojo, or are you Satoru Gojo because you're the strongest?" line, that probably stuck with Gojo ALOT. being considered nothing more than the "strongest" by his best friend must of hurt and may have opened all six of his eyes to possibility of "oh god is calling everyone weak... rude and hurtful?" which could lead to his attitude in this. He knows how being known only for your strength and not who you are definitely hurts, he probably felt empathy for utahime, having a sign of their strength (or lack there of) shown physically (Utahime's scar shows her weakness and Gojo's six eyes show his strength.) So him giving utahime the ribbon as a way of showing that she is more than her scar, than her weakness and to embrace not only herself but her weakness was pretty impactful in my opinion. sure he jokes around and calls her weak in season 1, but I have a feeling this is more in a playful way and not "you're pretty weak lol sucks to suck." kind of way. I could be completely wrong and overthinking this but I LOVE Gojohime and like to analyze Gojo's character since I relate to him in some aspects. Keep up the good work ❤(Also Gojohime is the best ship fight me)
