Thank you for the video.the portuguese didn’t claim one brazilian city was the capital of portugal, if i understood well what you said. The portuguese colonized Brazil afterthe xvi century and in the beginning of xix century during the French invasions the portuguese king and the Court fled to Brazil and Rio de Janeiro became de facto the capital of Portugal.was this what you meant?

You got the Brazil thing a bit confused. Brazil was a Portuguese colony at the time. It was a Portuguese territory overseas. The only reason what you say occurred is because the Portuguese king and family escaped from the capital, Lisbon, and set up shop in Rio. The French were invading Portugal and the royal family would have been put to death had they been captured. The French invasion ultimately failed, and the royal family returned to Portugal.
