Can someone please explain to me how does Truist Security lowers the price target from $7 to $6 yesterday, Just before earnings announcement How do they know what is QS going to release. What if they are short the stock, wouldn't that be price manipulation.

TSLA: 2019 - $14/ share, 2022: $400, 2024: 219 hopefully you bought in 2019 when they weren't making any money lol. obviously the battery is for real VW is a solid company. EV's arent there main thing, but they have the engineers who know better, can QS scale the manufacturing of the battery is the question. this is a non-exclusive agreement, and the got 130 million in cash fro VM. when they begin to sell there battery hopefully sometime next year. this maybe a cheap buy in now, but like investing this could be a bust

As you said "this stock is shorted for a reason" its shorted and much lower today because there is uncertainty about the tech and high cash burn. This news comfirms the viability of the tech. However if they have what they and other car companies say then its pricing in huge future earnings.

Obviously this is the opinion of a trader only mentality, listen I'm an options trader I get what he's saying, but If your in the market you also need to look at long term investments. Tesla didnt make money in the begining . the people who really made great return on the stock. This guy wont blink an eye investing in a chip company with a 72 multiple. I'm as skeptical on a lot a names. Tesla is a car company until Musk proves otherwise, yet people are all in. NVDA is a chip company, you know how many people will copy this technolgy in the next 3 years. Its like the Google trade this past week, now investors are worried about the AI investment making money, what was this past year all about, return now capex is an issue. The google trade was institutional investors cashing in, espacially the hedge fund managers. it looks like a classic pump and dump
