ASUS Fonepad Review | Pocketnow

The ASUS Fonepad is a bold concept with a great execution: it bring a physical earpiece to a seven-inch tablet, in case you don't want to talk to someone using the speakerphone or a Bluetooth accessory. That, plus it's a decent mid-range offering that is sturdy and will do the job. Read our full text review at: /2013/05/02/asus-fonepad-review

YES it's true, but since intel's chip is not an ARM based, you'll find a stuttering moment on most apps in terms of optimization, because Intel is actually run some emulation in order to process like an ARM chip

Anton, epic review as always. Became a loyal follower of you guys a long while back thanks to the excellent work of yourself, Michael Fisher, and the others. You all are so fun and entertaining to watch and have a great vibe about you all, I recommend you guys constantly to others and from time to time will posts your vids on facebook when its something I feel my friends and family might be interested to know. Hope you guys keep up the great work, your the best out there! :)

Hajrá Pocketnow & Anton! Ti vagytok a legjobbak. :)

I've been waiting for this review, but unfortunately there's not enough review for the display, viewing angle, color, contrast, etc. :(
Is it good enough for watching daily YouTube videos at home?

Yes I agree, the Nexus 7 screen looks superior to the Fonepad. I guess I'll wait for another alternative then. Thanks, you reply is much appreciated.

Great review as always. Pocketnow videos always seem yo have a blend of professionalism and laid back. Unfortunately the phone just doesn't make sense to me. The phablet concept is good at 5.5 and lower but 7 is pushing it too much for me

Tony, please compare the Fonepad vs Galaxy Note 8.0

Like the concept. It's light in hardware specs.

Looking at Anton talking over this, why, if the specs have been a little better, this might be my next phone! Or tablet!

As he said in phonepadvs nexus7, he said, that only the tecnology of the screen is the same, but the brightness and contrast is worse. Still usable, but not an amoled.

Oddly this reminds me of the Nokia Ngage - the weird sideways answering call thingy. I am a huge fan of phablets but this phone/tablet/whatever is HUGE!!
