Haha this is funny, cause the palace actually had to teach Kate everything by showing her videos of Diana on everything from speaking to sitting and getting in and out of cars - she even changed her dialect to a more posh way of speaking rather than the one she had grown up with. Before Diana, there weren’t videos on what a modern princess of wales should carry herself in public and Diana really had to learn lessons the hard way and she did stubble cause there wasn’t a Princess of Wales for over 325 years before she came along and with the modern Media circus at the time she developed her own technique on how to dress and look modern and carry her herself within the royal rules and regulations. But this way of sitting has been around and used by the Gentry for a few generations before Kate - so it’s funny they’re calling it the Cambridge Cross 😂.
