Cyndaquil is my favorite starter. My first game was Pokemon Silver, and Typhlosion was a power house.

Ice Punch/Bullet Punch

252Atk. 252Spe. 4HP.
Nature: Jolly/Adamant

My favourite starter is... Well, you can probably tell, loved Greninja and Froakie is just so derpy that you've gotta love the guy.
A close second is a tie between Totodile and Turtwig, Totodile for its behaviour in Pokémon Amie and the Anime, as well as the fact it becomes the beastly Feraligatr. I loved Turtwig because it became Torterra, who was my bro in Gen 4, which was when I really got into the franchise.

I LOOOVE Fire types, but it is hard choosing between Fire starters. But I think I have to go with Infernape. It has great Attack, Special Attack and Speed stats, and very decent defense stats too. It has a more varied movepool then Blaziken, and can make better use of Flamethrower then Emboar, ehich makes it my all-time fav.
