I love that black and white poly-satin fabric. It would be fun to photograph people when they get hypnotized by the fabric.

I’m excited for you, such wonderful fabrics! It will be fun to see them made up. I’ve read that the situation with COVID 19 in Brazil is very bad. It’s good to know you’re taking care. I’m in Los Angeles and things are opening up again and we’re going backwards. I’ll be home a lot longer and I’m struggling with that as time with my family is very important to me and it’s just me and my husband in our household. It’s a daily battle of the mind and spirit and sewing helps, so thank you for being here!

Such pretty fabrics, especially the bright tropical one. Like you I think we will be at home for quite a while longer and sewing is such a good hobby for these times.

Hope you put those tropical print fabrics first in line to sew. Beautiful colors. Can't help smiling when watching your videos and I bet you were a wonderful midwife!

That first tropical rayon spandex is probably the most beautiful print I’ve ever seen 😍. Looking forward to seeing whatever you make with all your lovely fabrics:)

Such lovely fabrics Karina and some great plans! I have been watching the news about the COVID situation in Brazil and glad you are staying home and safe! Things in the U.K. are getting a bit better but it will be a long time I think before the world returns to any semblance of normality! Thank goodness for sewing ❤️❤️

Thank you x You have some beautiful fabric there - I especially love the green with the birds and it suits your colouring beautifully x

Going to be fun watching you transform the fabric into fashion. I like perfecting the fit on a pattern and then using it over and over. For me it has to be a really special style to go through that whole process. Getting too old to go with every shiny new thing.😉

Hi Karina. I know how you like using up odd bits of fabric, and thought you may be interested in this pattern for your husband and son. It's Kwik Sew K3484. I've made my husband about 10 shirts now from this pattern, and they all look completely different. It's so much fun matching colours and prints together. Thanks again for sharing you video's with us.

Great video. Thanks for the information. Still learning how to pair fabrics to patterns. This helps a lot.

That green crepe is gorgeous!!! I have the Webster and have to print it out and try it. I also have the Springfield to try, too.

Thanks for sharing, Karina. Always an inspiration 👍I would love it if you do the hack with the green crepe to take the fullness to shoulder gathers! I am about to cut out my third version of a hack of the Cadence top I did after your vlog of the Harmony with the neck gathers. It was my first ever major hack and you gave me the courage and tools to try it 💕

Wonderful, educational video! I have a request for a video topic or tips. Would you describe best techniques for working with those very stretchy, often four-way stretch fabrics like ITY, lyocel (I think that's the word), and jersey knits that have lots of stretch in all directions. After a many years-long break in sewing, I have been sewing again for the last two years because I stumbled upon the online sewing community and got really inspired. I don't remember there being these super stretchy fabrics back in the old days, or at least they weren't everyday fabrics that I used or could afford. I find troubles with sizing and skipped stitches, especially with twin needling. I use new, proper needles and get my machine serviced yearly. I need to pluck up the courage to try out the very old serger I inherited... Thank you!

I'm sorry about the state of things in your area ... I did think of you when I read about it. I have a feeling that will be the case in many areas here in the U.S., too, as people feel a bit more free and do "social" things perhaps a bit prematurely. LOVE this kind of video ... I love seeing your thought processes and how you create with what you have. You just make it work (hah not an original line in this field!). 💚💚💚
