Thank you Lisa Ambjörn for writing this beautiful script and thanks to the cast director for choosing these 2 stars to bring Simon and Wille to life. One of the best shows to ever exist ! I love this show so so so much. Even though it's different in many aspects, their story reminds me of mine and my boyfriend's. We also met in Highschool. We were both introverts and were dating popular people back then. We sat next to each other in class and there were sparks from the very beggining (that we both tried to ignore). Once we got to know each other a bit better, we connected on such a level that it became impossible not to want to be together. We ended both our relationships and even waited a few months to start dating, out of respect for the people who we were dating, but even so we got SO MUCH hate from the whole school, even our best friends at the time turned against us. We got dozens of hate comments on Facebook, his ex girlfriend stalked us and even adults were trying to poison us against each other. It was a real team drama. Young Royals reminds me of that time and how hard it was for two young people who were doing nothing wrong to just love each other...
This kind of love and conexion between two people really exists and Edwin and Omar portray it so beautifully. ❤️

Oh and BTW, 14 years later we are still together and happier than ever. 🥹 so yeah... it was all worth it. ❤
