A team of Chinese researchers at Nankai University claims it has made a breakthrough in the area of brain science by enabling a monkey to move an external robotic arm using its brain signals. The experiment, conducted on May 4, 2023, is described as the world’s first interventional brain-computer interface (BCI) experiment on non-human primates.
