Can we have controler for the eye and mouth if it has different assets?

I mean if i already have 3 eyes model (open, closed and dizzy swirl and 3 mouth model like closed, smiling, and tongue out)

Can we add controller for changing asset like that? Or we just need to turn off/on layer normally like usual?

Edit. At first I thought it was hard to follow along because you are using layer naming that only makes sense if I buy the project files? (I couldn't tell which layers you are referring to exactly). But then it seems the project file is available. Thanks for your tutorials though.
