Great build and nice review of a truly iconic aircraft.

A very nice kit. Remember the FROG one!

Had a plywood cockpit nacelle, well the front bit was. My friend's dad flew these and said they were enjoyable to fly.

Immaculate build. Why so few views and comments? Great job done there!

Your remarks about reverting to spray can and hand-painting were interesting. I went down the 'expensive' rabbit-hole of airbrushing two year's ago, and truly regret it now. Over the years I have developed reasonably good finishes with brush in hand, and while there are great examples of air brushed models - you really need to be a professional to get any return on your investment.

The RNZAF started using the kiwi in the center of the round in 1972

This was the first kit I ever build. Must've been over 12-14 years ago :)
