The backing flange is cupped. Just bought one of this. Had to watch this to see if i got all the parts. Why would they not give you a flat backing flange so i can use my flat cut-off wheels that I already have a bunch of for my corded grander? The manual shows the use of a T1 Backing Flange for use with cut off wheels, do I have to buy that, why did it just not come with the T1 Backing Flange, what utility do you get with the cupped backing flange? I think i will just cut down the backing flange on the lathe but i should not have to do that.

I have 3-4 of the 4 1/2" grinders, don't have the bigger one, but I really am thinking about the die grinder, we need a review after use!
