Some of her jewelry was given to her daughter Anne, daughter-in-law Sophie and granddaughters, Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie and Louise. She was very close to all of these women.

Catherine did inherit some of the Queen’s jewelry. Princess Catherine choose to give a lot of the Queen’s jewelry she inherited to Princess Anne. Catherine is a giver not a taker.

Kate deserves everything that royaltie provides for a future queen! She's sweet, humble, loving, and giving ❤️! Smart as anyone, as well. All men should be so privileged to have a woman like her on your arm! And capable of much more than wife and mother, I'd imagine. Especially Blessed by looks from mother nature, she took her time making sure Kate was perfect!

I just love seeing photos of the Queen. Princess Catherine should get most of the jewelry, because she will be the future Queen.

I don’t believe that Queen Elizabeth 2nd would have given Nutmeg any jewelry. She would sell it in a heartbeat.

It's not Kate Middleton and has not been since she married Prince William in 2011. Her name is HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales.

There’s not many people to look up to these days but Kate and William for two young people really got it together.

The Festoon Necklace is an heirloom of the Crown, not part of the Late Queen’s personal collection. The diamonds were earmarked as heirlooms of the crown by Queen Mary in 1911. Therefore, the necklace belongs to the Crown, that technically means The King, now.

I heard that The Queen’s jewellery went to Princess Anne which makes perfect sense as she is her daughter after all?

Kate deserves any jewelry the late Queen bequeathed her. I would be astonished if mm even gets a gold toothpick……

I wonder who will get the Granny’s Chips brooch? If you don’t know what it is, look it up. Two of the largest diamonds made into a brooch which the queen wore so casually at times. It’s a stunning piece.

The Princess of Wales would not have to pay inheritance tax on anything as the Monarch is exempt from death duties.

Both the Cartier Halo Tiara and the George VI Festoon Necklace are heirlooms of the Crown. The Cartier Halo Tiara was gifted to The Queen Mother by King George VI. She then gifted it to Queen Elizabeth who lent it to Princess Margaret and Primcess Anne, and then to Catherine. The Festoon necklace was made from diamonds owned by the Crown. And, Queen Elizabeth’s will is sealed, so no one but the family knows who received what until it is worn. Princess Anne and Catherine both received strands of pearls, as they’ve worn them. Princess Anne received the strand which The Queen is most often photographed wearing, a strand she likely received from her parents.

I haven’t seen many jewelry pieces on anyone aside from the pearl necklaces that both Anne & Catherine have worn, a couple pieces I’ve seen Catherine & others wear (the 3 pearl choker) prior to the Queen’s death and of course the Pearl & Diamond Tiara (Everyone had worn but Diana had a lifetime loan so was known for). I just haven’t seen the collection brooches, many diamond bracelets & watches, necklaces, hundreds of earrings, rings & pendants, etc, that I figured we’d have seen some by now. I’m sure I’ve missed seeing them which is why I’m searching others recollections or sightings. I especially am interested in the brooches which is perhaps one of the best collections of all times. The Queen wore them regularly & sent messages through them which was very clever. Do you know where they are or if they’re sitting in the Royal Vault waiting for someone or something we’re not aware of? The King & Queen don’t seem interested in the Jewry or in loaning the pieces out. I thought we’d see many pieces that hadn’t been out in years but it seems like there’s less wearing of any of the beautiful pieces rather than more. It could be fewer opportunities but they used to be wore at Film Premieres, BAFTA & would’ve been seen at formal occasions at the Albert Hall. After Princess Diana, I don’t recall too many really wearing the jewels except at the State Dinners. I’d heard the King wasn’t going to have the Ladies wear Tiaras to the upcoming one.I haven’t seen Catherine wear s tiara except at her wedding or through a car window. I don’t believe she’s even been photographed in public with a tiara except her wedding. Sad & disappointing. Anything anyone may know would be so appreciated. I wonder why. During Sarah & Diana’s marriages neither received much of anything in the way of jewels. Neither had a diamond necklace though the vaults were full of diamonds. Sarah never was given anything except her wedding tiara, which was bought for her and her engagement ring. I don’t believe she was even loaned any pieces like Diana was. Most pieces Diana wore was not hers but on loan. There wasn’t much except for the Saudi’ Suite which was given to her, that actually belonged to her. I guess that’s why Diana cherished her watch & the beautiful divorce ring’, which sadly are both with Meghan Markle, unworn & somewhere in the USA. Even her little butterfly earrings she wore so often are with Meghan and also no longer seen or worn. Her gorgeous engagement ring is safely on Catherine’s hand so it’s safe in the U.K.. A few pieces Diana received as gifts from her family I hope are with Catherine but I’d read once Diana had suffered a burglary riot to meeting Charles so had her few pieces stolen. So sad as she appeared to really love & enjoy loved jewelry, much like Queen Margaretha of Denmark and like the Queen she also had such a great imagination in their use. Now, I’ll have a good cry. As an American, I can’t help but feel responsible. Sad. I’m
so sorry. 🇺🇸🙏🌈❤🇬🇧
