One way to test which one is the best, is by using a black and white American Flag. If it can't get that, then other pictures will not be totally correct. I have a colorizer that came with the latest Adobe Photoshop Elements, and for simple things like skin oceans and sky, it's good. Flags, Nope! Terry

colorize does not work anymore, tried many times within the size limits, which if over are said to be auto resized, nothing happens, the sample photos do work, so unsure whats going on

My Heritage is the clear cut winner. The other ones had bleed through and rainbow effects. They did Ok, but nothing beat My Heritage. Too bad they charge you after 10 pictures though.

being smart and able to learn isn't good enough. these programs can be automatic all they want, but it isn't going to be accurate until the owner is able to tell it 'the teeth need to be white', 'the hair needs to be red', or the backdrop needs to be blue
