Trump plans to sue DOJ over Mar-a-Lago search

Former President Trump informed the Department of Justice that he intends to sue them over the Mar-a-Lago raid. MSNBC's Lisa Rubin joins Ana Cabrera to break down the legal analysis and to explain what's next.

Sure Donnie that's a great way to review the case before the entire nation. Do that so even the MAGA people can realize that what the FBI did at Mar-a Lago was to bend over backwards to get you to voluntarily return the material, and only when you lied and said you had no govenment documents, did they gather the information that showed to a judge of the Federal District Court said information stating what the FBI believed you had and where you had stashed it on Mar-a-Lago. For which the judge granted permission to search the property with a warrant of search.. The FBI did NOT RAID the property busting down doors and using weapons to intimidate and round up everyone in the place. They gave you notice that they were on the grounds and told you they had a search warrant and they were allowed fo seach bycourt order. They found most of the material that was not ORDERED HIDDEN IN ANOTHER LOCATION ON MAR-A -LAGO by YOUR ORDERS. That was discovered later with another warrant for search and warrants for arrests. Some of your people were arrested for assisting and complying with that order and now you have also been charged. File that law suit Donnie, I DARE YOU.

First, it was never a raid; it was a search. He was notified they were coming. Second, it was an effort to retrieve stolen property. Lock his miserable wreck of a human life form up, already.

We already went through this issue numerous times - 1) It was a "search", not a "raid", 2) performed according to FISA rules. 3) The DOJ even went to the trouble of making sure Trump wouldn't be at Mar A Lago that day so they wouldn't have to strip search him down to his depends.
