I'm trying this method now for the seats in the area of the stadium model, where there is a curve in the edge. It would always distort the seats. I do not know how will I resolve this.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial!
Wouldn't it be faster though if, instead of manually duplicating and placing each ball, you just pressed Ctrl + L with all single vertices selected and the ball actively selected and then clicked "Link Mesh Data", so that all vertices are replaced with the football mesh?

really useful and good, but: how can I do the same with a path from a HEART? So how does a heart shape work and does that also work with a butterfly, along a heart path? greetings from salzburg-Tara♥
