1983 Amstrad Ts 88 Hifi with Rare Matching Amstrad Tower Speakers

Bought this stack about 15 years ago, as for the speakers, a great friend bought them for me about 2 years ago.

me and my partner just inherited this same model from his dad. how was the set up like for you? I’m worried we might come across problems when we try to use it

Brilliant hi fi, I have the same one but my record player packed up, common fault speed selector. Anyway mine is stripped down in a shopping bag. The unit and record player are long gone as well are the speakers. I always thought I would make my own wooden unit but I've still not got round to it. My videos on YouTube called Allen Sugers finest!

Who made better Amplifiers. Amstrad or Sinclair?

Very nice system. My dad had the same one but only had one tape deck. Shame it doesn’t have aux inputs.
