How to set up Basal rates for the Medtrum Insulin Pump using PDM handset (English)

Slide to unlock your PDM

Slide your finger from right to left to access the main menu

Tap on Settings

Tap on insulin pump

Tap on basal set up

Tap on edit basal

Tap on standard

You can add different time segments for the day depending on your need for different rates of insulin at different times.

Tap add time segment to add a new time segment

You can adjust the insulin rate for each time segment by tapping on the blue number next to each time segment

Now tap done.

If you want to delete a time segment. Simply slide your finger across the time segment from right to left and then tap delete

Once you have completed the basal rate set up tap the save icon in the top right hand corner of the PDM to save your basal rate.

You can choose to set up to 7 different Basal patterns for Medtrum insulin pump, to help manage weekends, holidays, exercise and illness etc.
