Assisi, Italy is a sacred space within the Franciscan tradition. The natural beauty and social fabric of the city greatly influenced the lives of St. Francis and St. Clare. Pilgrims can personally and powerfully connect with the lives of Francis and Clare by visiting the sites that are important in the Franciscan tradition. By doing so, pilgrims gain profound insight into their own lives and spiritual journeys. This presentation will explore how both students and older adults can benefit personally and spiritually from walking in the footsteps of Francis and Clare.
