That's hygiene training. Many people appreciate a well trained house animal. Same with cats on countertops, I will never eat from anyone's house that allows animals where they eat. I grew up with it and it always grossed me out. I'm so thankful to have my own house.

Oh my goodness! This is so true. My dog can get right up on my faces..inches away but will not lick my face. And he's really very affectionate and loving.

Absolutely TRUE 😂 I'm 73 yrs old, never been without a dog. Face, mouth licking, unacceptable. Eating off my plate, no. Licking utensils, no. Don't get it twisted, I Love and Adore each and every pup who I've been privileged to share my life with. We've began each journey with them as pups and our journys ended when they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They've eaten when I didn't and always had treats and toys but they understood the assignment.❤
