There are too many variables for us to tell you how often you need to wax your car such as the environment, is your car parked outside, is it garage kept, is it a show car or your daily driver? A good general rule of thumb is to wax your car every season or every three months with either a carnauba wax or synthetic wax to ensure you have plenty of protection on your paint.

Every 3 months? I do it every Saturday morning after I wash the car. If you do it regularly, it takes far less time and the car always looks amazing.

I wax my truck whenever I get time and I'm in the mood: 3-4 times a year. Although I'll try to do it more often. Biggest issue is lack of time because I also have to hand-wash the big pickup truck.

I wax mine once every 2 weeks i live in Las Vegas Nevada so its gets really hot out here. Its Beats down on your paint big time.

How about for tropical climate ? As I use paint sealant and it looks like only last for about 1 month. The water beading pattern on the hood gone in around 2 weeks.

I am using meguiars nxt generation car wash(ph balaced) for maintenance wash every 10 days then apply mequiars ultimate quick wax. And polish my car with mequiars ultimate polish after every month.
Is it safe to apply quick wax after 10-15 day wash.
I am living in india here is so much pollution and dust. Its so hard to maintain you car like new.

Hey, I am from Sunny Greece! I have a question please. How often I must wax my car? If i use wax paste and after wax liquid it that a problem? or I make the best job? Moreover, If i wax ever 3 weeks (not months but weeks) is good or I make problem to the surface of the car and the colour because of to many layers of wax. because has got wax and wax and wax so the surface was got a deep wax layer? thanks for you answer. I have to say, I wax my car after every wash. That can be 2 or 3 times a week!
