Republicans in the US Senate have voted to pass a bill that will implement sweeping changes to the country's tax code, despite independent projections which found the plan could add $1tn to the federal deficit over the next 10 years. Chuck Schumer, the Senate's ranking Democrat, denounced the bill as having been hastily rewritten in the hours before the vote while Senator Bernie Sanders said the poorest in society would have to pay for the changes

How about in 2020 the next scapegoat for hate should be the rich class instead immigrants and muslims

NOT going to help with jobs other countries pay 10×less in wages for a lot more production with way less safety and environmental regulations.

That's good. Social security does get abused from time to time and tax payers work to damn hard. Hopefully this plan brings more jobs to Americans and factories galore.

All I know is that hundreds of thousands of people are now complaining on Twitter about a tax law they didn't read, only got the footnotes from their favorite mouthpieces, and are probably not even paying taxes to begin with.

One such contested change, for instance, is that apparently small businesses will be hurt by removal of itemized deductions, though pro-bill people will claim small businesses don't typically use itemized deductions.
